Recommended Adapter for Using Roadmaster Tow Bar on 1992 Jeep YJ with D-Ring Bumper

Question:

I have a 92 YJ with a Gavin Industries ATS front bumper. It has the D ring mounts on the bumper. Would the Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts to Roadmaster Motor Home Mount Tow Bars work with this bumper and which size would I need? Thank you.

You can use the Roadmaster Adapter for D-Ring Bumper Mounts on your 1992 Jeep YJ with an ATS front bumper. The model you need will just depend on the size/thickness of your D-rings. If you have 3/4 inch D-rings, you will want the Roadmaster part # RM-035 and for 1 inch thick D-rings you will need part # RM-035-1. These adapter brackets will let you use any Roadmaster motor-home-mounted tow bar with your Jeep YJ.

If the D-rings on your bumper happen to be 1/2 inch thick, they are not rated for use with a tow bar.
