Recommendation for Sealing a Replacement Roof Section on Car Hauler
Question:
I have an enclosed car hauler with a galvanized metal flat top roof. A tree limb punctured the roof and I need to repair it. I was going to replace the section of roof with a new piece of metal. What sealant is going to work best on the joint? Thank you.

Expert Reply:
Once your roof section is installed and secure I recommend using the Sealant # 0160297 to finish the job. This sealant is what we recommend using after installing a roof vent on a trailer so it will work great for sealing up your roof job.
Please note that it does require a cartridge applicator to apply the sealant.
I have linked a review video for you to check out as well.
