Solution for 7-Way Wiring Harness on 2015 Nissan Xterra that Comes Disconnected

Question:

2015 Xterra trailer wiring harness. Backside of socket with all the colored wires going into it wont stay plugged into the backside of the socket. It jiggles off on the highway and I lose my brakes, lights, etc. Looks like it should have a clip, clasp, or keeper of some kind... but doesnt. Whats the fix? A new backside to the 7-pin socket? Thanks.

So the backside of the 7-way connector that mounts on your 2015 Nissan Xterra keeps unplugging? That really is a strange issue. Normally this connector plugs in to the back of the socket and then the gray retainer clip keep it from working itself off.

I wish we had just that harness, but since we do not and the fact the socket itself could also be at fault the only real solution we offer is the part # 118266 which will replace everything.
