Finding Bearing Numbers or Measuring Spindles for Hub Replacement Compatible with Trailer Axles
Question:
I have Rogue Trailer 2004 with dual trailer buddy axles, 14inch wheels, no brakes, rated at 4000#. Appears to be 5 at 4.5inch lugs. Will your AK1HUB-545-35-G-EZ-K fit? I really do not want to have to disassemble to measure shaft dimensions. Many thanks.

Unfortunately, there is no way to tell if the hubs will fit without measuring the axle shaft or getting the bearing numbers, so disassembling one hub is required. Although this may sound a little difficult, it really is an easy process, but it will require getting your hands greasy.
If you can let me know the bearing number on the face of the inner and outer bearing, I can see what hub will fit your spindle based on those numbers. Those numbers are normally printed on the larger side of the bearing, but in rare cases it may not be legible.
If you cannot find those numbers, then measuring the spindle with a digital caliper like # PTW80157 will allow you to give me necessary measurements to find you compatible hubs. I've attached a photo to assist with the locations to measure if needed.
