Troubleshooting Wiring Harness Function on 2014 Honda CR-V
Question:
I followed the online video for 2014 Honda CRV EX-L when complete tested and left turn signal no response, right turn signal back up lights flashed like turn signal? Seems to either be faulty or wrong harness. Part number on box was right but had been taped shut

Often when one function doesn't work but all others do, it is a bad ground to blame. I recommend starting with that ring terminal and making sure you have a bare metal to metal connection. Then test your 4-way for functions using a circuit tester like # PTW2993. If the function is still not working, then test that function at the connection to the harness. If the vehicle wiring is sending the signal, then we can determine that the harness is bad. If there is not power at that function from the vehicle, then I recommend checking your fuses and then tracing that wire for a short.
