Looking for a Reese M5 20K Hitch w/o Wire Harness for a 2017 Ford F-350 with Factory Tow Package

Question:

I bought a new 2017 Ford F350 Super Duty short box p/u with the gooseneck/fifth wheel towing pkg. I bought a Jayco 24.5CKTS and specified the Reese Revolution 90 pin box. Someone else with a similar truck, different Jayco fifth wheel asked what the best hitch would be and you recommended the 18K Reese fixed hitch item RP30142 with a tow wedge, item SWW-01 I looked at that hitch and the hitch is probably correct for my truck as well but my truck came from the factory with 7-pin round plug connecter on both the rear bumper and in the box. The Reese 30142 comes with a wiring harness which I suspect I dont need. Can you buy this hitch under a different model number without the wire harness and save a little money? Thanks...

Yes, you can purchase the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ford Towing Prep Package - Single Jaw - 20,000lbs # RP30921, which will come without the wiring harness. This hitch along with other M5 Series hitch heads require the custom wedge kit # RP44FR when used with a rotating pin box.
