Where Does Draw Tite Hitch for 2017 Honda CR-V Attach

Question:

Automaster Honda installed a Honda Hitch on my 2017 CRV EXL. In that process they removed a large piece of cast aluminum from bumper. the hitch was 1.25 inch. of course my bike rack is 2 inch. Dealer refuses to install a 2 inch hitch, Do I need to reattach the aluminum part before a Curt hitch can be installed? a temp fix was a Reese converter that I had an inch sawn off to get rack closer to vehicle. rack is not tight stable and makes noises when I go around corner or over bumps. long story short I should have waited until Curt hitch was designed and made. any ideas appreciated. If the tow hook on your rear bumper is still present on your 2017 Honda CR-V the Draw Tite hitch part # 76128 will still fit. It attaches to the side frame rails and then the tow hook. If the section removed was not the tow hook you'd be good.
