Should Both Batteries in 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali Be Disconnected for Flat Towing

Flat towing can require preparation procedures that differ quite a bit from one vehicle to another. So the best practice is to review your specific vehicle's owner's manual. I reviewed the online edition of the manual for the 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 and on page 10-94 it notes that ONLY 4WD models with the 2-speed transfer case can be flat towed.
The manual does not specifically state to disconnect both battery ground cables but since both are wired in parallel and both are used for starting the truck you would need to disconnect both.
