Recommended Roof Rack and Canoe Carrier for 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback

This is my question I have a 2017 Honda Civic 4 door hatchback I would like to put a roof rack on it by thule to use for a canoe will it hold the canoe and not Dent the top of the roof
