Do 2 Inch Trailer Hitches for 2017 Honda CR-V Interfere with Hands Free Tailgate
Question:
Compare the C13397 and the Draw tite 76128 for compatibility with the hands free sensors on 2017 Honda CR-V. Also, where do the support straps go on the Curt hitch?

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite 2 inch receiver, part # 76128, is the better choice for your 2017 Honda CR-V because of your hands-free lift gate. The sensors are likely blocked right where the receiver opening is but if you put your foot to either side the gate will open.
The Curt, part # C13397, on the other hand completely interferes with the sensors. However, you can obtain a sensor relocation kit from a Honda dealership to solve this problem if you prefer this hitch.
