2-Inch Hitch to Allow Use of Yakima FullSwing Y02465 on 2016 Honda CR-V

Question:

I found your video on how to install a Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver Class II and I just want to know if it also fits other cars as well as the CR-V2016. I would also like to know if it is compatible with the FullSwing 4 Bike Rack. Thanks!

The Draw-Tite 2-Inch Class III hitch # 75742 is a confirmed fit for the Honda CR-V for model years 2012 through 2016. It will not fit on any other vehicles. If it is ever necessary to move the hitch from one compatible CR-V to another all you need is the replacement hitch hardware kit # RHK. Hitch installation hardware cannot be used a second time so this new hardware kit will ensure a safe installation that allows the hitch to meet its specs.

This hitch is an excellent choice for use with the Yakima FullSwing # Y02465 since it provides plenty of clearance for the rack and a substantial 675-lb weight rating. You'll be able to get the most out of this excellent family-friendly 4-bike rack that swing out of your way even when fully loaded.

If any of the bikes do not have a horizontal top frame tube (as found on most boy's/men's bikes) then you'll want to add an adapter bar to those, part # UB01, to provide a mating surface to secure those bikes to the rack.
