Recommended Replacement Brakes for a Jayco Eagle Superlite 31.5 RLDS 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
Like another one of your customers, I have a Jayco Eagle Superlite 31.5 RLDS 5th Wheel. The brakes are 12 inch diameter, 2 inch in width, the spindle hole is 3-1/4 inch in diameter and the spacing for the 3/8 inch bolts is 2-1/16 inch Can you recommend a replacement brake component. The whole assembly is what Im looking for. Thanks

I recommend going with our Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-7-SA. This kit includes both the Left and Right hand assemblies, which come with identifying stickers, and are rated for 5.2K - 7K axles. I have attached a picture to demonstrate that they have a 3-1/4" pilot hole diameter, 4 of the 5 bolt measurements are 2-1/8" center on center, and the last measurement is 3" center on center. These are self-adjusting brakes that will work great for your application. After the initial install you don't have to worry about adjusting them again.
These brakes can also be found individually with part # AKEBRK-7L-SA being the Left hand assembly and part # AKEBRK-7R-SA being the Right hand assembly.
If you need replacement hardware you can use part # BRKH12.
I have attached review and installation videos for you to check out as well.
