The wiring harness that fits your 2016 Ford Explorer if you have a factory 7-way trailer connector is # 3035-P. This will work perfectly with your Prodigy P3 # 90195. It plugs in to a port that is above the brake pedal or kind of in the area of the driver's left knee. There's likely a plastic panel you'll need to remove to access it. They are also often taped up or have a cap on them.
If your Explorer doesn't have a factory 7-way then you won't have a connector under the dash and you'll need to hardwire in the P3. Instead of using # 3035-P you'll need to use our # ETBC7 kit to convert the 4-way to a 7-way. This kit also includes everything to install the P3. I've included a video of the install for you.
