Wiring Harness for a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Without the Tow Package
Question:
I couldnt locate the round trailer connector under the rear inner bumper. In this case I believe a complete wiring harness may require. Can you please suggest a solution. Thanks

If you were unable to find the round US Car Connector that the Hopkins 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket # HM40975 plugs into, then you will need to use an alternate wiring solution for your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
I recommend installing the Tekonsha T-One # 118727 which will plug in quickly behind your tail lights and give you a 4-Way flat wiring connector. You can secure it to your hitch receiver using the Mounting Bracket # 18144 and Curt No-Drill Bracket # C57202. You may need to take your Jeep to a dealer to have them activate the tow package wiring circuit.
If you are needing a 7-Way connector then you will also need to install the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7. This will plug into the 4-Way connector and then leads will be run for the 12V power and brake controller signal. I have linked a sample install of this kit on a 2008 Jeep Liberty that you can use as a reference.
If you do not have a brake controller then I recommend using the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 because of how easy it is to install and use.
