Recommended Lug Nuts and Balancing For Lynx Wheel # LH45FR

Question:

Hello, I was interested in some of the Lynx aluminum wheels. I was wondering if you needed to buy different Lugnuts for those rims than what my standard trailer would have with the acorn nuts? Thanks

The Kenda S-Trail ST145R12 Radial Trailer Tire with 12" Aluminum Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range D # AM31202 referenced in your question is a great radial tire that has a maximum load of 1,220 pounds at 65 psi. The aluminum wheel features a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern and is compatible with 1/2 inch wheel bolts with 20 threads per inch like # AM26NR. If this what you have, then your existing lug nuts will work great.

The manufacturers of our tire and wheel combos will line up the heavy spot on the tire with the light spot on the wheel. This is a type of balancing and typically trailer tires will not need to be any more balanced than this. You can certainly have the tire and wheel professionally balanced if you wish, but this is simply not necessary.

I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can check out, along with a couple of articles on trailer tires and wheels that you might find helpful.
