Recommended Plug-In Harness for Moving Tekonsha Primus IQ Controller to 2017 Chevy Silverado

I have a Primus IQ P2 controller I took off of my 2006 Silverado 1500. Will it work on a 2017 Silverado 1500? If it will, is there a wiring adapter for it?

You can absolutely use your Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 on your new 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500. To install the controller in your new truck, you will just need the Plug-In Adapter # 3016. One end of this adapter will connect directly to the controller itself and the other end will connect to the built-in port behind the Silverado's dash.
You also mentioned P2 in your question, which refers to the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885. If this is what you have, the same above mentioned Plug-In Adapter # 3016 will be what you need for installation.
