The fan shroud on the Derale High-Output, Dual Radiator Fan-and-Shroud Assembly part # D16812 is about 1-1/4" thick but the space between the fans is only about 2". Therefore, I would not recommend going this route. Unfortunately, due to the 2-3/8" of clearance from the radiator to the outer knob on the water pump, your options for a puller electric fan setup is almost non existent.

Therefore I have two options for you. The first option you have would be to replace the water pump pulley with one that offers a smaller profile. Though this is probably not ideal, if done so your choice of radiator fans will be much larger. Once you have installed a smaller profile pulley, I recommend going with the Derale High-Output Electric Radiator Fan w/ Aluminum Shroud part # D16830.

This dual electric fan setup is 22-1/2" wide x 19" tall x 4-1/2" deep. Each fan is 11" in diameter and provides you with up to 1,875 CFM of cooling power. This will be an excellent option and provide your 1971 Dodge Demon with some of the best-in-class cooling.

The other option you have would be to install a pusher fan on the opposite side of the radiator. For this, I recommend using the Flex-a-lite 12-1/8" Lo-Profile Electric S-Blade Radiator Fan part # FLX143. This fan has a 1,250 CFM rating and will work well for you as long as you have 15" wide x 13-1/2" tall x 2-5/8" deep of space.
