Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver to Fit a 2013 Nissan Xterra

What is the best tow hitch for my 2013 Nissan Xterra S ?

We carry two trailer hitches that are confirmed to fit your 2013 Nissan Xterra, the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 13514, and the Draw-Tite Max Frame Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 75291.
Of these two hitches, I recommend the Curt hitch over the Draw-Tite hitch for your Nissan Xterra. Both hitches are designed to custom-fit to bolt on to your vehicle with no drilling or welding needed. Both hitches are Class III hitches and have the 2 x 2 inch receiver opening.
The Curt hitch has a heavier towing capacity and is more economically priced than the Draw-Tite hitch. Also, the Curt hitch is made in the USA.
If you are planning to tow a trailer, then I recommend you also get the Hopkins Plug-In Vehicle Wiring Kit, # HM43575. This kit will allow you to install a 4-flat trailer connector to your vehicle which then can be attached to your trailer to run the lighting functions.
I have attached an installation video of the Curt hitch being installed on a 2013 Nissan Xterra for you to review.
