Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2017 Honda Accord without Requiring Stabilizer Strap
Question:
I see that you recommend the Curt C11496 hitch over the CURT C11681 hitch. I liked the Curt as it did not require removal of the panel under the car. Is that true for the 2017 as the install video was for the earlier model Accord. What is the recommended Circuit kit for the 2017 Accord?

Curt requires the use of their stabilizer strap part # 18050 # C11496 when using their hitch to carry a non-supported load like a bike rack. It's basically an additional precaution that Curt has for their hitches to help take the shock of a bike rack or cargo carrier out of the setup over bumps.
