Question:
Im looking at your Item # F2550, for my 2000 F-250 Super Duty short bed and am wondering if it will mount up ok with a BandW turnover ball hitch #1108R?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Spring Kit # F2550 is a confirmed fit on your 2000 Ford F-250 (both the 2WD and the 4WD models) and it is compatible with an in-bed hitch such as your B&W gooseneck. I linked an install video for you that shows this kit in your same model year F-250.
You might consider adding a compressor kit to automate your air bag pressure adjustment. Being able to do this on the fly, as you drive, makes it a lot easier to find that sweet spot that gives you the rear suspension support you want without creating an unnecessarily stiff ride quality. Kit # F2158 is a single-path compressor that controls both air bags, but if you haul uneven cargo loads and find the need to have different pressure on each side of the axle to keep things balanced then a dual-path compressor # F2581 will be the better option.
