Troubleshooting Indicator Lights on Tekonsha Voyager XP Brake Controller
Question:
Yellow to red indicator light does not come on when plugged in.

I recommend reading the instructions carefully as they mention the LED lights on the controller being a leveling issue. The Tekonsha Voyager XP and the Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional # 39510 do have very sensitive leveling requirements, so I've attached the installation and leveling instructions for you.
If you have no lights come on at all, it is most likely a ground issue and you should clean your connection points on the trailer and vehicle side of any corrosion and debris. It can also be a bad ground or bad power connection. If these are both secure, it is most likely an internal issue and the unit should be replaced.
If you have further issues, let me know and we can continue to troubleshoot.
