Is a Brake Controller Wiring Harness Connector Available on the 2005 Honda Pilot
Question:
I Want to install the prodigy brake controller on my 2005 Honda Pilot, am I able to use the 3070? What other wiring will I need? I have a 4 wire plug on rear that was installed by dealer when Pilot was purchased new. Thanks Tom

The Wiring Adapter, part # 3070-P will work on the Honda Ridgeline only. The 2007 Pilot does not have the provision for plugging in a controller under the dash. To install a controller in your Pilot, you will have to hardwire the controller, using our Brake Controller Installation Kit, part # ETBC7 (for a 7-way connector) or ETBC6 (for a 6-Way connector). The install kits contain everything necessary for installing your brake controller.
Since your Pilot already has the 4-pole trailer connector, you will not need the T-1 Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118336, that is required for installation of the Brake Controller Installation Kit.
I will provide you with a link to our Brake Controller Installation Guide, which you might find helpful.
We also have an installation video that shows the entire installation process. The video shows the install on a 2009 Honda Odyssey, but the procedure would be very similar for your Pilot. You can find links to the Guide and Install Video below.
