Parts Needed to Install Prodigy RF Brake Controller in a Vehicle with a 4-Way
Question:
I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited without the factory tow package. I have since added a 4 pole adapter through my taillight and a hitch. I now want to upgrade to a 7 pin adapter to pull a small tear. I want to use a Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 3 Axles - Proportional Item # TK94FR so I dont have to install a brake controller in the cabin. I want to make sure that power is fed through the 7 way connector to not only power the wireless brake controller but also charge the trailer battery. Does this mean all I have to do is run one black 10 gauge cable from the 7 way connector to my vehicle battery and make sure its protected with a 30Amp breaker? I dont need a duplex cable since I wont be running any brake controller wires in the vehicle.

You are totally correct. All you need is the # 37185 to convert the 4-way to a 7-way and then need to run a 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 through a breaker like part # 9510 to the vehicle's positive battery terminal.
With that all installed the part # TK94FR would be ready to plug in and be used.
