Recommendation for a 5th Wheel Hitch for a 2017 Ram 2500 with Factory Prep Package

Looking at the Curt A16 C16520-16021 hitch to tow a Arctic Wolf 265DBH8 5th wheel with a dry weight of 8284 lbs. This will be towed with a 2017 2500 RAM with the factory prep kit. Is this a good option?

The A16 has a 16,000 lbs gross towing weight capacity which will easily handle the weight of your trailer. This Curt hitch is set up for the Ram Factory Prep Package, so installation will be easy and fast. Hitch will drop and secure into the 4 receiver pucks that are in the bed of your truck.

Some of the features that I like about the A16 are it's interlocking 2-jaw system which will provide for a more secure jaw-to-king pin contact. This system will make less noise and a more secure fit than typical slide-bar models.

Another feature I like is the fully articulating hitch head. This feature will also help reduce noise but will also help suppress road shock and help eliminate chucking.
