Recommended Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System for 2013 Keystone Trailer

Question:

Should I be able to buy and install this same model weight distribution system in exact same location as it was installed by prior owner primary concerns are the drilled holes / threaded s. prior owner had a GMC 3/4 ton. I have an F150 Platinum crew cab. next question is what down hitch would I need?

You should be able to install the same Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution w Sway Control - Trunnion Bar - 12,000 lbs GTW, 1,200 lbs TW # RP66074 in the same location as the previous owner without any issue on your 2013 Keystone trailer. Any threads that are in the trailer won't be an issue as the system does have lock washers and nuts to secure the dual cam components to the frame if needed.

You will want to get a hitch ball for this system like the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 1-1/4" Diameter x 2-3/4" Long Shank - Chrome - 12,000 lbs # 19286 which is a confirmed fit. You will also need a weight distribution shank as you mentioned. For this I recommend the Reese Weight Dist Shank - 12-1/4" Long - 2" Drop to 6-1/2" Rise - 1,500 lbs TW # RP54970. If you need a deeper drop, you can use the Reese Weight Dist Shank - 13" Long - 6-3/4" Drop to 11-1/2" Rise - 1,400 lbs TW # RP3215. I've attached a couple videos and articles to assist.
