How to Make a Reese Bike Rack More Stable in the Hitch of a 2009 Toyota RAV4

Question:

We just got the bike rack assembled and put it on our 2009 Toyota RAV4 in a 2inch hitch. It seems rather loose fitting and is wobbling a lot in the hitch, any suggestions to decrease the wobbling? Thank you,

Expert Reply:

Sounds like you will need an anti-rattle device to make your bike rack more stable in your Toyota's trailer hitch. I recommend the Pro Series Anti-Rattle Device for 2 x 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receivers, # PS63091.

The Pro Series device will insert between the trailer hitch receiver and your bike rack. The adjustable bolt and jam nut will allow you to stabilize the bike rack and help eliminate the wobble in the trailer hitch.
