Trailer Hitch and Wiring Recommendation for 2017 Toyota Prius V
Question:
Thanks for your detailed response, which brings up another quick question. I also have a rectangular wire basket with an attachment beam that fits into a 2 inch receiver -- the kind of thing that's useful for carrying bicycles and cartons. Is there a version of the assembly you recommend below available with a 2 inch receiver instead of a 1 1/2 inch receiver and accessories? Or do you carry an adaptor that would allow me to use the wire rectangular basket and its 2 inch beam (tube, or whatever the correct word is) with a 1 1/2 inch receiver?

For a trailer hitch for your 2017 Toyota Prius V the best choice is the Draw Tite part # 24847 as it is custom fit for your vehicle and has a great price. For trailer wiring you would want the part # 118610.
For a ball mount you would want the part # 3593 which is designed for the hitch and then for a 2 inch hitch ball you would want the part # 19258.
