Can Andersen Ultimate Connection AM3200 be Used in Factory Prep Package in 2017 Ford F-350  

Question:

I had the andersen hitch in my 2015 f250 with the bandw turnover ball. Worked excellent no problems. Now i have a 2017 f350 with the factory 5th wheel prep and pucks. Now the hitch will not mount with the factory pucks in the floor. Is there an adapter or another andersen hitch that will work with the puck style system?

There is an adapter for the factory puck system in your 2017 Ford F-350. It is # RP30156. It has 2 sets of mounting slots for a hitch. The inner set is spaced 20-1/2 inches apart on center and the outer set is spaced 29 inches apart on center.

But there is one problem. The picture frame # RP30156 is an adapter and the Andersen hitch # AM3200 is also technically an adapter and using an adapter in an adapter can lead to unknown performance and/or problems.

Ideally you would use a hitch that fits directly into the factory puck system such as # C16515-16020. I have linked a video of this hitch for you.
