Platform Bike Rack Recommendation for Uses Behind RV that is Similar to Swagman XC
Question:
The swagman xcs bike rack. We want to know the weight limit on it. 70 lbs seems a bit light for 2 adult bikes. This will be hanging off the back of our RV

I have a perfect solution for you, but it's not the Swagman XC. Instead you would want the Swagman Dispatch part # S44FR which has a 45 lb per bike capacity and is rated for use on an RV.
At the rear of a trailer or RV the ride quality is very rough when compared to the ride quality at the rear of a passenger vehicle. Reason being the suspension isn't as sophisticated and there is a longer distance between the rear axle and the rear of the trailer which exaggerates the movement of the trailer when hitting bumps. Because of that only a few bike racks were designed to be reinforced enough for that type of use.
