Fifth Wheel Hitch and Rail Kit for 2016 Toyota Tunda 5.5 ft Bed

Question:

I am contemplating purchase of fifth wheel trailer. Looking at hitches. If trailer has Reese Revolution king pin, is a Sidewinder still required? I have short bed Toyota Tundra. Thanks.

Actually a Reese Revolution and a Sidewinder are the exact same thing! One brand is used if it's installed as OEM equipment from the trailer manufacturer (Reese Revolution) and Sidewinder is the aftermarket brand.

So you'd need a stationary hitch like the part # RP30075 for your 2016 Toyota Tundra 5.5 foot bed and then a rail kit like the part # RP50084-58 which is as custom install kit that will minimize drilling.
