Adapter for Boat Trailer With 5-Flat Plug
Question:
My boat trailer has a 5-flat plug where I assume one wire is to activate the trailer brakes once the trailer tongue compresses upon the tow vehicle braking. What 5-flat connector would you recommend I order with my hitch? Thanks

In order to connect the 4-flat on your Audi Q7 to the 5-flat on your boat trailer, you would want to use Tow Ready 4 Pole to 5 Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter # 20036. The blue wire that comes with this kit is going to get spliced into the reverse light wire on your Q7.
