Recommended Brake Controller and Adapter Wiring For 2016 Thor Vegas

I have a 2016 Thor Vegas with factory 7 round plug for hooking up a trailer. I want to put in a brake controller. Is there a plug and play available for my unit?

For your 2016 Thor Vegas, you should be able to use a simple brake controller adapter because it is an Ford E-series cab and chassis. For your brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 because it is extremely reliable and easy to use. It is a proportional brake controller so it will send the same amount of braking pressure at the same time as you apply the brakes in your 2016 Thor Vegas. This controller has a simple LCD screen that takes code deciphering of most brake controllers out of the equation.

You can use the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers - Ford # 3034-P. This adapter plugs into the connector behind your vehicle's dashboard. To reach the connector, first locate the notch in the access panel in the center of the dash, near the passenger side. Using a trim panel puller, carefully pry the panel out and undo the locking tabs to remove the panel. You will find the mating connector behind this portion of your dashboard.
