Hitch Mounted Bike Rack for a 2011 BMW 328xi Sedan

Current vehicle: BMW 328xi Sedan single muffler Current bikes: Cannondale Quick CX 44inch Wheelbase, Trek 700 43inch Wheelbase. Wanting to purchase: Curt Hitch, C11033 / 1.25inch and Kuat Sherpa 2.0, SH12B / 1.25 Hello, is this a workable combination and are there any issues I should be aware of? Thank you.

The combination of the Curt Hitch, part # C11033 and the Kuat Sherpa 2.0, part # SH12B, is a great combination.

The Curt Hitch can carry your chosen bike rack, but be aware that to keep your warranty intact, you will need to employ a Support Strap, part # 18050 , to help minimize the amount of movement that occurs during travel. I've included a video that demonstrates the benefit of using this strap.
