If your 2015 Honda Civic sedan is the regular model or the hybrid I recommend the Curt Class I hitch # C11391. I linked an installation video and a helpful article to aid your installation.
These are light-duty Class I hitches that can handle the weight of up to 2 bikes. You need to use a Class I-compatible hitch bike rack in this hitch and all are shown on the linked page. I suggest the Thule EasyFold # TH903202. This rack packs in a lot of features and value and you can learn all about it in the video linked for you.
But since you are travelling substantial distances (presumable mostly on the highway) I also suggest using the Curt Support Strap # 18050 to further control rack motion. The strap attaches to the rack and trunk lid to support the loaded rack's weight and minimize motion as you drive.
If either bike does not have a top frame tube, like what is found typically on a man's bike, you will need an adapter bar # UB01 which connects between the seat and handlebar posts to provide a similar mounting point to mate with the rack's arms.
