Would Ball Mounts of Kit # 989900 Clear Rear Bumper of 2017 Honda Pilot
Question:
I have 2017 Honda Pilot, planning to purchase etrailer e98840 hitch, Curt C56291 and etailer 989900. For U-haul trailers, it require a 3inch riser to step up to 18. Question is if 989900 ball mount kid is long enough to avoid rear bumper. if not please recommend a product Thanks.

The etrailer trailer hitch # e98840 on your 2017 Honda Pilot will be a great setup. A ball mount could pretty easily fit the hitch and clear the bumper. The ball mounts that come with the part # 989900 would easily fit the hitch and not interfere with the bumper.
The trailer wiring part # C56291 would also be a confirmed fit too. I attached an install video for this kit and the hitch for you to check out as well.
