That really depends on the tire. What you need to do is check the sidewall for the max PSI rating. With trailer tires you want to run them at the max pressure all the time so that you ensure you get the full capacity as well as prevent heat build up. It's not like passenger vehicles where you inflate the tire below the max rating.
