Can the Curt Echo Brake Controller be Used with a 2015 Ford Edge
Question:
My 2015 Ford Edge has a factory installed trailer package. Is it possible to use the wireless brake controller with it?

The Curt Echo # C51180 is a universal brake controller so it will work with your 2015 Ford Edge with the factory tow package. To use the RF with your Edge you will need to make sure that your Edge has a 7-Way with the trailer light and 12V power functions active.
From my research online it looks like your factory trailer package comes with a hitch receiver but I didn't see anything about wiring. If you do not have any wiring then you will want to use the Tekonsha # 118669 if you have the SE or SEL or the Tekonsha # 118677 if you have the Sport or Titanium. Once you have a 4-Pole connector you will then want to install the Wiring Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L. This will give you everything you need to use the Curt Echo.
I have attached some videos that you can use as a reference.
