Since your vehicle has power, you will want to check your battery. It sounds like you have enough power to run your lights, etc, but don't have the cranking amps to turn over your vehicle. If your battery does have the cranking amps, then check the ground wire from your battery to the frame and the new ground wire on your 7-way. You want a bare metal to metal connection. We can keep troubleshooting if you have an issue after trying these options.
