Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2018 Chevy Equinox

We do have a base plate kit and everything else that you will need to flat tow your 2018 Chevrolet Equinox!
I recommend using the Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plate Kit # RM-523193-5 for a base plate kit. It features removeable arms that will give your Equinox more of an OEM look when you are not towing it.
You will also need a tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter.
For a tow bar that is compatible with your EZ5 base plates I recommend the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520 this is one of our most popular tow bars and is rated for 6,000 lbs. You can use the RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643 as well which are also rated for 6,000 lbs.
For wiring I recommend using a Roadmaster diode wiring kit as we have found them to be extremely reliable. If you have the Premier model then you need kit # RM-15267, but if you don't have the Premier model then you need kit # RM26FR instead.
The supplemental braking system that I recommend is the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700. After the initial install you do not have to mess with it anymore.
