Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver and Hitch Adapter to Carry a Bike Rack on a 2015 Chevy Camaro
Question:
do you have a trailer hitch with a 2 inch receiver for a chevy camaro. all that i see on the web site are 1 1/4 inch receivers and my bike rack is a 2 inch. even a 1 1/4 to a 2 inch adapter would work since I am only using the hitch for a bike rack.

If your 2015 Chevrolet Camaro is the Coupe without the Ground Effects package then I recommend going with the Draw-Tite Sport Frame Receiver Hitch # 24850 which is a Class I, 1-1/4 inch hitch receiver. If you have the Convertible option without the Ground Effects package then you will need to use the Curt Receiver Hitch # C11222 which is a Class I, 1-1/4 inch hitch receiver. Since there are no 2 inch receiver options for your Camaro you will need to use either of these options. Keep in mind that if you use the Curt option you will need to use a Support Strap # 18050 to comply with Curt's warranty.
You can use an Adapter # HTAD to carry your bike rack and bike(s) but it will reduce the Tongue Weight (TW) capacity of your hitch by 50% so you will need to make sure that you are within that weight range. Also, the weight capacity of your setup is limited by the least rated component in your setup. Either of the hitch receivers that we mentioned have a 200 lbs TW capacity but you will need to verify what the Tw capacity is for your Camaro as well and go with whichever one is lower.
