Recommended Kayak Carrier for 2005 Lincoln Town Car with Naked Roof
Question:
do they make a rack to fit 2005 Lincoln towncar? need to haul my Kayak. I know they must as have seen racks on Crown Vics and they are pretty close. Thanks

I may have a solution for you, however there is not currently a roof rack system available that is compatible with your 2005 Lincoln Town Car.
To transport your kayak on your vehicle, I recommend looking at the Rightline Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs # RL100K10 . This foam block kit will allow you to carry a single kayak on the naked roof (no crossbars or rails) of your Lincoln Town Car. The blocks will provide a safe surface for the vehicle and kayak, and tie-down straps are included to secure everything into place. The system can safely transport one kayak. I also recommend checking the roof's weight capacity on your vehicle as listed in the owner's manual just to be sure it can support the weight of your kayak.
