Does Hydrastar Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Require a Mounting Pad
Question:
Does the actuator come with rubber pad isolators to absorb any shock and vibration or does it mount directly to the trailer structure? Also, I have a 14,000 lb tandem construction trailer with drum brakes. Is this the unit recommended for it? Thank you.

The Hydrastar Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator w/ Breakaway and 7-Way RV Harness # HS381-9065 mounts directly to the trailer frame and does not require any mounting pads. I checked with Hydrastar and they recommend the unit get mounted level with the filler side up.
This would work well for your tandem axle drum brake trailer.
