For your 2011 Kia Soul manual transmission, lets start with the base plates. I recommend the Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 522111-1. These can be installed using Loctite threadlocker like # LT37420 for best hold.

For a tow bar, I recommend the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar - Motor Home Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs # RM-520 along with the RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables - 6,000 lbs # RM-643. I also recommend a hitch lock like # e98882 to secure your investment.

For your wiring, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 which will use your factory wiring for a clean look while still protecting it. It will also allow you to put a maintenance charge on your Soul battery when towing it.

For your supplemental braking system, I recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251. This is an excellent system that is a favorite of our installers because it is so reliable and easy to use. Once installed and adjusted, you can simply use this as a plug and play system. You don't need to adjust it again and it can be mounted out of sight.

The last thing you will need is a high-low adapter. This is vehicle and motorhome specific, so I've attached an article to assist and linked the page to your options. This will give you a complete flat towing setup.
