Can a Roof Rack be Installed on Ford Focus With Sunroof?

Question:

When it says naked roof does that refer to the roof not having a moon roof/sun roof? My 2005 Ford Focus ST 4 door sedan has a moon roof/sun roof does that prevent me from buying a roof rack?

It is still possible for you to use a roof rack with a sunroof on your 2005 Ford Focus; the only issue may be opening or closing the sunroof if the rack-mounted accessory extends too far underneath the crossbars. Should you be looking for a quality rack, I recommend checking out the SportRack # SR1003, which is a pair of square crossbars; the rack has integrated locks and a weight capacity of 130 lbs.

The only thing to keep in mind is that this rack may require the SportRack short-roof adapter # SR1116 for short or dramatically curved roofs.
