Can Battery Isolation Solenoid PK5231201 be Used on 2016 Nissan Frontier

Question:

I want to install a battery isolator on my 16 Nissan Frontier. I assume ii would go in the 12v line in the trailer tow package. Where is it best to pick up this line? Thanks

The battery isolation solenoid part # PK5231201 can be installed on your 2016 Nissan Frontier to allow you to only activate your 12 volt power circuit when the key is on. For the center pin of the solenoid you have to find a circuit that only sees power when the the key is. Typically people run a wire up to the fuse box looking for a circuit labeled ignition. Or if you can find a circuit that only sees power when the key is on like the radio that can work too.

In my car I have a couple relays activated by the traction control switch as it only sees power when the key is on.
