Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Furrion 50-amp female to 15-amp male marine power cord adapter. Now, this pigtail adapter will attach to your boat's 125/250-volt 50-amp inlet, and it gives you a male plug here for attaching to a 15-amp extension cord. Basically, the female plug here connects to the 125/250-volt 50-amp power inlet on the boat, and then the male plug here connects to a 15-amp extension cord that can be run to an electrical hookup. Now, the female plug, itself, it is a locking NEMA SS-2R design. The male plug on the other end is a straight NEMA 5-15P design.

You can see on the female plug end, it has these nice side grips on it for easy, user-friendly connection. It does use the weatherproof-threaded collar for a secure connection, and if you notice, it does include this tethered cover that'll protect the plug from any dirt or grime. Just push it on there, and it snaps right on there. It does offer the PowerSmart LED voltage indicator light, right here, that'll indicate when power is present and active, and this is a nice heavy duty marine grade construction. It is a universal fit with all other brands.

You can see it has a nice, bright, visible color, and total length on this cord is about 21 inches. A few specs on it again, the amperage for the female end is 50 amps. The male end is 15 amps. Voltage, 125/250 volts, and the cable type this is constructed of is a three, there's three cables, and they're 10-gauge size STW wiring.
