The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13144 is designed to fit a Subaru Forester from 2014-2018. This fully welded custom trailer hitch receiver bolts onto your vehicle's frame with no welding required. It comes complete with all hardware and brackets needed for installation. It is a Class III trailer hitch receiver with a 2"x2" hitch receiver opening.
If you are not using the trailer hitch receiver to tow a trailer, you will want to use the Curt Trailer Hitch Support Strap part # 18050, which is required by Curt Manufacturing. If you are using the vehicle to tow a trailer, I also recommend using the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56040 in addition to the Ball Mount Kit part # 989900.
I have attached an installation video of this hitch and wiring harness installed on a 2016/2017 Subaru Forester for you.
