Does the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter # DM6194 Lock Into the Puck System on a 2016 Chevy Silverado
Question:
I have a 2016 Chevy 2500 HD. Does this adapter actually lock into the 4 factory in bed Puck slots also? The picture only appears to look as though only the goose-neck ball may lock in. I have the Anderson ultimate hitch at this time, but would rather have the auto slider, just not sure how the adapter plate is held in place.

Yes, the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package # DM6194 will be secured by both the gooseneck ball mount point and the 4 puck points in the bed of your 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500.
This will work perfectly with either the 18K Demco Autosliding Hijacker # DM8550034 or the 21K version # DM8550035. Even though the Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System with Adapter # AM3200 is a great lightweight 5th wheel system to use, it only provides an offset of 9 inches. Either of the Hijackers will not only give you 14 inches of clearance, but since they autoslide you will not have to get out of your cab to disengage and re-engage the sliding feature.
