Why Doesnt the Grease Seal in BK2-100 Fit on My 1995 Shorelandr Boat Trailer?

I have a 1995 Shorelandr boat trailer, model SR-V1724. I ordered BK2-100 but now having concerns that the 10-19 double lip seal in that kit may not fit. Can you advise me as to appropriate bearings, races, seal, etc. Thank you.

This is a common issue with Shorelandr Boat Trailers. The TruRyde Bearing Kit, # BK2-100 was designed specifically to be used with a # 84 spindle. I was able to verify which seal you need by using the VIN number you provided. (Thank you!) All of the components in this kit will work perfectly for your Shorelandr, except (as you noticed) the grease seal. Boat manufacturers are well known for using oddball or proprietary parts and this is no exception. Shorelandr calls for a seal that has a 1.75 inch inner diameter and 2.565 inch outer diameter. The 10-19 seal, part # RG06-050, is close, with an inner diameter of 1.719 inches, but not close enough. You will need grease seal # 17413 which is available online.

In the future, I recommend purchasing the components separately. I have listed all of the parts below for your convenience. I've also included a video to walk you through the installation.
