For your 2010 Ford F-150 with 5-1/2 foot bed you have 2 options.
The first option is to use a Demco 13K HiJacker auto-sliding hitch. There are 2 versions of this hitch, # DM8550041 for under bed mount and # DM8550040 for industry standard above the bed rails. Either of these hitches has 22-1/2 inches of travel and slides automatically.
If you go this route and choose the under bed version then the installation kit you will need is # DM8551001. If you choose the version for industry standard rails you would need install kit # RP50081-58.
The second option is to use a fixed hitch (non-sliding) and a Sidewinder pin box on the trailer. For that I recommend using rail kit # RP50081-58 and Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Slide Bar Jaw - 16,000 lbs # C16115. Sidewinders replace the pin box on the trailer and move the trailer pivot point back 22 inches. In order to determine if there is a Sidewinder that will fit I would need to know the manufacturer and model number of the pin box itself. This information is usually on a sticker or plate on the pin box. I have included some helpful links for you as well.
